ABOUT US

We Have Been Helping New and Established Residents Find Friends Since 1935

Who's New in Madison, Inc. was organized in 1935 to help new residents of Madison become acquainted with their new community through shared interests and social activities.  Over the years, in addition to continuing its mission of welcoming new residents to the Madison area, Who’s New in Madison has evolved into an organization that also supports the social needs of residents who have lived in Madison over two years.  This blend of newcomers and longer-term residents has enhanced the opportunities for all to build new friendships and participate in the many activities offered through the organization.

From September through May, the greater Madison area provides a setting for monthly luncheons and programs for our 500+ members.

The club offers a variety of interest groups for members.  Several activities are offered for members with a spouse or guest.  We offer hiking, biking, card games, book clubs, social clubs - anything is possible. New ideas for interest groups are always welcome.

Every year the Who’s New Board selects a non-profit organization to support among a list of candidates submitted by members.  The Service Project Committee oversees fundraising for the non-profit through fundraisers throughout the year.  We have raised over $100,000 for various organizations throughout the years.
